- Braided line & hook lengths are NOT permitted.
- You MUST use fishery pellets only. These can be purchased at the office.
- Maximum hook size 12 – all hooks MUST be barbless/micro barbed.
- Size 8 Will be permitted ONLY when using boilies.
- No treble hooks or spinning allowed.
- No fixed weight rigs – Free running/safety clip rigs only.
- Do not use raw tigernut.
- No keep nets allowed.
- Landing mats are mandatory.
- Large landing nets are mandatory.
- Fish must not be lifted to standing height once landed.
- If you are holding the carp for a photo please kneel over your landing mat.
- ALL fish must be safely returned.
- The gate must be closed at all times.
- Day permits must be packed up and off the water for 10pm (Summer months) as gates will be locked.
- Please DO NOT leave your rods in the water unattended.
- No bait boats are permitted.
- Maximum of two rods per angler.
- You must fish from your peg and not over into other anglers’ pegs.
- Do not fish off the bridge/stalking rods are not permitted.
- Do not enter the water, even if you are wearing waders.
- If you witness or suspect any wrongdoing please inform the fishery staff as soon as possible – regular walk rounds will be undertaken and any issues will be dealt with.
General
- Please ensure all litter is taken home with you.
- We accept no liability for any damage to vehicles, fishing equipment, bivvys etc.
- Please ensure all litter is taken home with you.
- If you smoke please dispose of your ends appropriately – do not leave them all around the banking.
- Keep you lines away from the aerator as this is likely to be switched on without notice during the summer months.
- If you lose any equipment in the water please notify fishery staff.
- Radios are not permitted.
- No BBQ’s/camp fires of any sort are permitted.
- Any antisocial behavior will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave.
- We reserve the right to inspect any fishing tackle/bait.
- Dogs are not permitted.
- If you have small children please tend to them and ensure their safety.
If anyone is seen not adhering to the rules it could result in being asked to leave or banned permanently from Springwater.
